This piece, as well as all of the products in The Earthwardens Collection, is handmade with entirely recycled leather and released in very small, limited edition batches. This means that the leather had a previous life, so there may be small cosmetic imperfections in the material. This gives the piece character, and I hope it reassures you that your purchase is making the smallest possible environmental impact. Purchasing this versatile item will help our dear Mother Earth grow, as I donate 10% of the sale directly to the charity One Tree Planted. All Earthwardens items are shipped with 100% post-consumer recycled packaging.
The runes I engrave on my pieces are the Elder Futhark runic alphabet. These runes were used by the ancient Germanic people (and early Viking Age) for recording information and channeling spiritual energy.
You can choose one rune to be engraved on the leaf or feather of your Earthwardens piece. You can also simply tell me the intended purpose or story of the piece (protection, health, prosperity, courage, etc) and I will choose the rune best suited to your purpose.
This ready-made item will be engraved with your choice of rune and shipped within 1-2 weeks. Once it's out the door, Standard Shipping will deliver your package within 3-8 days (domestic) or 7–21 days (international). Expedited Shipping will deliver within 2-3 days (domestic) or 6-10 days (international).

When I ordered these earrings, I got them in the mail really fast! Marin had wrapped them up carefully and even left a handwritten note, which I found to be a very nice personal touch. It goes to show how much love Marin puts into her leathermaking. The earrings were much lighter than I was expecting as well! They did not catch on any of my scarves or clothing, and they're a beautiful accessory to go with a variety of outfits (including in the office, which is where I wore these first!). Seeing how much work and love Marin put into something as simple as these earrings has made me excited to purchase more items from her shop!
