9 Inch Valet Tray: Crafter's Kit
Kit Description
This DIY kit comes with all the materials you need to craft your own 9 Inch Valet Tray. This leather kit is outfitted with corner snaps that make your finished tray very portable and versatile. Grab your Tool Pack and let this handcrafted kit lead you into the world of leathercrafting. This Crafter's Kit comes with links to detailed digital instructions, which will guide you every step of the way. The finished tray will be 9 inches square when flat, and approximately 6 inches wide and 1.5 inches tall when snapped into its tray position.
All levels are welcome to join us in this virtual crafting circle. Bring to class your kit, your Tool Pack, and have on hand the following items:
Cutting board or countertop (Stone is recommended)
Bowl of water
Soft towel
Leather dyes or other coloring solutions are not included with these kits. If you would like your finished pieces to be a color other than the natural color of leather, please order leather dyes, paint, or markers from other sources.
Your choice of artwork will be included as a tooling pattern, with instructions on how to tool the specific design. Choose between one of two featured art pieces, or the default Celtic knotwork design with a bindrune for luck and good fortune. You can even choose up to three of your favorite runes to be drawn into a custom bindrune and edited into the default Knotwork circle tooling pattern, for a personalized touch.

The runes I engrave on my pieces are the Elder Futhark runic alphabet. These runes were used by the ancient Germanic people (and early Viking Age) for recording information and channeling spiritual energy. A bindrune is a symbol that is made up of multiple runes, generally used as a symbolic or ritual charm.
If you choose the custom bindrune option for your Crafter's Kit, you can customize the rune engraving in the selections above. You can also simply tell me the intended purpose or story of the piece (protection, health, prosperity, courage, etc) and I will choose the rune best suited to your purpose.
Are you more of a visual learner? The recorded online classes are a perfect way to launch your leathercrafting journey. They allow you to pause, rewind, and follow at your own pace. If purchasing a Virtual Class, the class links will be sent to you upon shipment of your materials. However, if you want more than just the one class, consider purchasing The Crafter's Bundle. This all-inclusive bundle gets you all 5 Crafter's Kits and Virtual Classes, as well as the Tool Pack needed to craft your projects.
Crafter's Kits will be shipped out within 1-2 weeks, and links to any Virtual Classes will be sent upon shipment of the kit. Once it's out the door, standard Shipping will deliver your package within 3-8 days (domestic) or 7–21 days (international). Expedited Shipping will deliver within 2-3 days (domestic) or 6-10 days (international).
