This custom, handmade and hand-molded leather owl mask is sure to awaken the truth-seeker within you. Featuring thick leather and a durable, adjustable leather strap, this costume piece is perfect for LARP, SCA, Halloween, Renaissance Faires, festivals, or even pagan rituals.

Mythic Beasts

This Collection of handmade leather masks & headdresses is inspired by the creatures and animals of ancient mythology. Each unique design is completely my own, and each piece is individually hand-sculpted, carved with your choice of runes, and dyed with your choice of colors.

The Nature of Handmade

While I make every effort to match the color swatches and product photos shown, no two pieces will be exactly the same. Leather is a natural material and you can expect variations in color or natural markings which lend to the uniqueness of each piece.
Rune Customization

See the last photo in this listing for a reference of the Elder Futhark runic alphabet. These runes were used by the ancient Germanic people (and early Viking Age) for recording information and channeling spiritual energy. A bindrune is a symbol that is made up of multiple runes, generally used as a symbolic or ritual charm.

You can choose up to three runes to personalize your piece, in the form of a Bindrune.

If you do not specify your preferred runes, I will choose for you. You can also simply tell me the intended purpose or story of the piece (protection, health, prosperity, courage, etc) and I will choose the runes best suited to your purpose. If you would rather exclude this option from your piece, simply enter "no runes" into the text box.

Shipping & Production Time

This custom, made-to-order piece will be crafted to your specifications, and shipped within 1-3 months. Please reach out if you have any questions about current processing times. Standard Shipping will deliver your package within 3-8 days (domestic) or 7–21 days (international). Expedited Shipping will deliver within 2-3 days (domestic) or 6-10 days (international).

Import Fees

All orders are shipped through USPS, from my home studio in Boston, MA. Please understand that if you buy from out of the United States of America there is a chance that your country will charge you import fees in order to receive your package. I have no control over your country's international tax or mailing laws, so please familiarize yourself with those policies before purchasing.

Beautifully made!

Our new Owl Head custom-crafted leather mask is absolutely wonderful. The moment we saw it in person, my husband and I could tell it was made with real artistry and care. The leather has a beautiful texture, and the details—especially around the eyes and beak—give it so much life and personality.
